MGF: Research, Benefits & UK Availability
Mechano Growth Factor, a splice variant of IGF-1 studied in skeletal-myocyte proliferation pathway research following mechanical stimulation.
Every Peptify MGF batch is independently HPLC-tested by Janoshik Analytical (Czech Republic) and ships with the batch-matched Certificate of Analysis.
What is MGF?
**Muscle repair research.** Mechano Growth Factor is the IGF-1 splice variant characterised across published research as the local autocrine/paracrine factor at sites of muscle damage — the early signal for satellite cell activation, hours before systemic IGF-1 response.
Research has examined satellite cell proliferation, myoblast differentiation, and fusion with existing muscle fibres. Bone formation, cardiac tissue applications, and age-related sarcopenia models have been investigated as additional research axes alongside the central muscle repair work in published literature.
2mg lyophilised vial. Janoshik-verified, batch-specific COA included. 99%+ HPLC purity. Strictly for in-vitro research.

How to Store MGF
Unreconstituted (Lyophilised Powder)
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C. Under these conditions, lyophilised peptides can remain stable for up to 24 months. For extended preservation beyond 24 months, store at -20°C in a freezer.
Reconstituted (Mixed with BAC Water)
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, the peptide solution must be refrigerated at 2–8°C. Use within 4–6 weeks for optimal potency. Do not freeze reconstituted peptides as this may degrade the compound.
General Tips
Always keep vials upright to prevent leakage. Avoid repeated temperature fluctuations — do not leave vials out at room temperature for extended periods. Protect from light exposure by storing in the original packaging or a dark container. Label all vials with the reconstitution date.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is MGF?
MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is produced in response to mechanical stimulus or exercise stress. It is studied in the satellite-cell activation and skeletal-myocyte pathway literature.
How does MGF relate to IGF-1?
MGF is a splice variant of IGF-1, sharing structural elements but expressed in response to different stimuli. Research has examined whether the two variants activate overlapping or distinct downstream pathways.
What purity does Peptify MGF meet?
Peptify MGF is 99%+ HPLC-verified with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis from Janoshik Analytical, published on the product page and downloadable directly.
