GHK-Cu: Research, Benefits & UK Availability
A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide researched for collagen synthesis, tissue remodelling, wound healing, and anti-aging applications.
What is GHK-Cu?
One of the most extensively studied copper peptides in tissue remodelling research, with decades of published literature since its discovery in the 1970s.
In-vitro and preclinical studies have examined its role in stimulating collagen types I, III, and V alongside elastin and proteoglycans. Research has also investigated anti-inflammatory effects, hair follicle regeneration, wound closure, and antioxidant activity through upregulation of protective enzymes.
This 50mg vial is sized for in-vitro research use only and suits single-arm protocols or assay development work. Batch-specific COA included; 99%+ HPLC, independently verified.

How to Store GHK-Cu
Unreconstituted (Lyophilised Powder)
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C. Under these conditions, lyophilised peptides can remain stable for up to 24 months. For extended preservation beyond 24 months, store at -20°C in a freezer.
Reconstituted (Mixed with BAC Water)
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, the peptide solution must be refrigerated at 2–8°C. Use within 4–6 weeks for optimal potency. Do not freeze reconstituted peptides as this may degrade the compound.
General Tips
Always keep vials upright to prevent leakage. Avoid repeated temperature fluctuations — do not leave vials out at room temperature for extended periods. Protect from light exposure by storing in the original packaging or a dark container. Label all vials with the reconstitution date.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does GHK-Cu do in research?
GHK-Cu stimulates collagen types I, III, and V, as well as elastin and proteoglycans. It is researched for skin regeneration, wound healing, and tissue remodelling.
What is the difference between 50mg and 100mg?
Both contain the same 99%+ purity GHK-Cu. The 100mg vial provides a larger quantity for extended research protocols.
Is GHK-Cu the same as copper peptide?
Yes. GHK-Cu is the scientific name for the copper tripeptide (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine Copper Complex) commonly referred to as copper peptide.
